Sir Paul McCartney has likened Kanye West's song-making process to making a bowl of spaghetti.

The 75-year-old music legend teamed up with the 'Famous' rapper in 2005 when they released 'FourFive Seconds' alongside Rihanna, and he has revealed when the 40-year-old is working on a new track he takes ''little noodles'' of information he likes to put into the completed project.

Speaking to ABC in Australia, the 75-year-old said: ''I was sitting around with Kanye for a couple of days and I didn't think we'd written a song, because I was just playing around, noodling. I was expecting for an idea to come out there and then, but his way of working is he takes all these little noodles away and he makes spaghetti.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s family is set to grow once again if the latest reports are to be believed, with the surrogate they found apparently three months pregnant with their third child.

It was widely reported back in June this year that the celebrity power couple had successfully found a surrogate mother willing to carry a baby for them. However, a source has apparently told Us Weekly on Wednesday (July 26th) that the woman – a San Diego mother in her mid-20s, referred to them by an agency – is already three months along.

This means, if everything is true and goes according to plan, that the Kardashian Wests will become parents again in January 2018!

UK based artists make up four of my Top 10 Hip-Hop Albums Of 2016, and Skepta has led a British invasion on American shores. High Focus representatives Dabbla and Ocean Wisdom are also pushing progressive and forward-thinking product on their exciting releases, and on the other end of the spectrum we find London MC PhybaOptikz delivering some of the silkiest boom bap of the year with his under-appreciated project. We also had a number of noteworthy comeback LP's, and some of the biggest names in rap music returned with projects that were as much noted for clickbait context as they were for the quality of the music; the quality was most definitely there though.

Skepta - Konnichiwa
One of the UK's most treasured MC's finally hit his deserved recognition with this year's LP 'Konnichiwa'. Grime is going global, and who better to serve as its overseas figurehead than Tottenham lyricist Skepta. With undisputable bangers like 'Man (Gang)', 'Shutdown' and 'That's Not Me' (all of which individually set YouTube alight with huge videos), big name collaborations such as Pharrell Williams, Young Lord and A$AP Nast along with an intense and polished sound, the album was an instant hit. People have been waiting for Skepta to deliver a consistent, hard-hitting project for years now, and 'Konnichiwa' did everything we hoped for and more. If you're as uncompromising as Skepta is on this album and even the Mercury panel are rooting for you, you've got to be doing something right.

Billboard magazine has apologised to North West, the two year old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, after it came under fire for a tweet which some readers thought ‘sexualised’ the toddler. The tweet was later deleted, but not before many voiced their anger at the mag, who claim it was all a case of misunderstanding.

Obama was speaking at a morning fund-raising event in front of 1,300 people in California on Saturday (October 10th), at which Kanye was scheduled to perform after his speech. A range of pop stars including Jay Z, Beyonce, Kanye West and Rihanna are suing a Paris-based clothes retailer and manufacturer for “brazenly” selling merchandise such as hats, T-shirts and mobile phone cases bearing their likenesses without their permission.

A complaint was filed on Tuesday (October 6th) at a federal court in New York alleging that the company ElevenParis has ignored warnings previously issued by the artists to stop the items in question from being sold. According to Reuters, the retailer’s actions “have caused and are causing immediate irreparable harm” to the plaintiffs.

During a new interview about his recent Yeezy Season 2 fashion collection, Kanye West has dropped a little update about his new album Swish – and it doesn’t make good reading for fans.

The rapper admitted that, although he debuted a new song, ‘Fade’, from his seventh album at New York Fashion Week, the record itself may still be about a year from completion. “That song I played has been a year and a half in the making and it may be still a year from being complete,” he told Vanity Fair. “But it was to let people get a glimpse at the painting.”

All the bad blood between Taylor Swift and Kanye West would now seem to be over for good, after the rapper sent her a pretty ostentatious bouquet of flowers in the week after she presented him with the Video Vanguard Award at the MTV VMAs.

25 year old Swift revealed the kind, and rather sizeable, present on Instagram, sharing a photo of her standing by the massive block of white roses on Friday (September 4th). However, the choice of words she used afterwards suggested something even more spectacular!

Kanye West was honoured with the the Video Vanguard Award at last night’s MTV VMAs and used his acceptance speech to get a few things off his chest. West was presented the award by Taylor Swift and delivered a passionate speech touching on the idea of artistry, the merits of award shows and his possible move into politics.

West famously interrupted Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech at the 2009 VMAs, when she won the award for Best Female Video over Beyonce. Addressing the incident during his speech West said, “First of all, thank you Taylor for being so gracious and giving me this award this evening. And I often think back to the first day I met you…”

Kanye West has announced that he’ll be performing his fourth album 808s & Heartbreak in its entirety during a show in Los Angeles next month.

Kanye, who’s still keeping everybody on tenterhooks regarding his seventh album Swish, will be revisiting the 2008 album during his show at the Hollywood Bowl in L.A. on September 25th. 808s & Heartbreak was characterised by AutoTune and saw him largely ditch rap in favour of R&B, and was met with a mixed reception at the time.

Miley Cyrus has been voted the worst celebrity role model for children in a new survey of British parents. A whopping 78% of parents of children under 10 say that the former ‘Hannah Montana’ star is “off the rails” and wouldn’t want their kids to idolise her.

The survey by British website vouchercloud.com asked 2,287 British parents, all of whom have at least one child under the age of 10, the question: “are there any celebrities you would hate for your children to idolise?” and were provided with a list of male and female celebrities to select from.

According to a statement from MTV, ‘Ye is being honoured with the award on account of his “career-spanning groundbreaking videos, legendary VMA performances and continued impact on music, art, fashion and culture.”

Drake has finally released a statement about a shooting at his OVO Festival after party in Toronto. The shooting occurred on Tuesday 4th August and Drake released a statement ten days after the tragic incident which left two dead. Drake, writing in a blog post on his website on Friday (14th August) explained how he had been unable to speak out about the shooting before as his legal counsel advised against it, stating how they believed anything he said about the shooting could be “misinterpreted”.
