Wiz Khalifa has said he accepts Kanye West’s apology for his twitter tirade last week. West attacked Khalifa with a series of tweets last Thursday when he mistakenly thought the weed-loving rapper had referenced his wife Kim Kardashian in a post.

In the run up to his hugely anticipated seventh album, Kanye West has spent Wednesday afternoon dissing fellow rapper Wiz Khalifa on Twitter, in an incredible string of 27 tweets that also took aim at Khalifa’s ex Amber Rose and their child.

Billboard magazine has apologised to North West, the two year old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, after it came under fire for a tweet which some readers thought ‘sexualised’ the toddler. The tweet was later deleted, but not before many voiced their anger at the mag, who claim it was all a case of misunderstanding.

The now deleted tweet showed a picture of North being held by her mother while licking a lollipop and included the caption, “The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.” The tweet then linked to an article about the toddler saying  "I said, 'No pictures,’” to paparazzi.

Kanye West has surprised and excited fans by dropping two new songs on his Soundcloud page. While both songs aren’t exactly ‘brand new’ they are never heard before remixes, building anticipation for his next album release.

The first song titled ‘When I See It’ is a remake of ‘Tell Your Friends’, the beat Yezzus dropped earlier this year for The Weeknd's album. The track lasts just 1 minute and 43 seconds. Barack Obama has offered a few words of wisdom to Kanye West, who recently announced that he intended to run for President of the United States in 2020.

Obama was speaking at a morning fund-raising event in front of 1,300 people in California on Saturday (October 10th), at which Kanye was scheduled to perform after his speech. Of course, the rapper announced his plan to run for the highest office in the land in four years’ time at the MTV VMAs back in August, and the President took the opportunity to refer to that.

As everybody knows, mash-up albums are so 2005, right? Well, they might enjoy a little revival with the online release of Yeezer, the work of a university student who has spent three years cross-breeding a selection of Kanye West’s hits with tracks by pop-punk veterans Weezer.

19 year old Alex Hodowance from Ohio spent three years, on and off, working on the 34 minute collection of mash-ups, ranging from the bizarre to the highly entertaining. It was uploaded to Bandcamp on Tuesday (October 6th), and quickly gained attention on Reddit before going viral.

A range of pop stars including Jay Z, Beyonce, Kanye West and Rihanna are suing a Paris-based clothes retailer and manufacturer for “brazenly” selling merchandise such as hats, T-shirts and mobile phone cases bearing their likenesses without their permission.

A complaint was filed on Tuesday (October 6th) at a federal court in New York alleging that the company ElevenParis has ignored warnings previously issued by the artists to stop the items in question from being sold. According to Reuters, the retailer’s actions “have caused and are causing immediate irreparable harm” to the plaintiffs.

Hip-hop artist and model Amber Rose has delivered a moving speech during her SlutWalk event, publicly forgiving two men in her life who have criticised her using sexist language and ‘slut-shaming’ terminology – her ex-boyfriends Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa.

During a new interview about his recent Yeezy Season 2 fashion collection, Kanye West has dropped a little update about his new album Swish – and it doesn’t make good reading for fans.

The rapper admitted that, although he debuted a new song, ‘Fade’, from his seventh album at New York Fashion Week, the record itself may still be about a year from completion. “That song I played has been a year and a half in the making and it may be still a year from being complete,” he told Vanity Fair. “But it was to let people get a glimpse at the painting.”

Pressed a little more about the subject, the 38 year old said: “I’m not worried about the years. I’m worried about the life and the body of work that I can put out while I’m breathing.”

Kanye West has announced that he’ll be performing his fourth album 808s & Heartbreak in its entirety during a show in Los Angeles next month.

Kanye, who’s still keeping everybody on tenterhooks regarding his seventh album Swish, will be revisiting the 2008 album during his show at the Hollywood Bowl in L.A. on September 25th. 808s & Heartbreak was characterised by AutoTune and saw him largely ditch rap in favour of R&B, and was met with a mixed reception at the time.

Miley Cyrus has been voted the worst celebrity role model for children in a new survey of British parents. A whopping 78% of parents of children under 10 say that the former ‘Hannah Montana’ star is “off the rails” and wouldn’t want their kids to idolise her.

The survey by British website vouchercloud.com asked 2,287 British parents, all of whom have at least one child under the age of 10, the question: “are there any celebrities you would hate for your children to idolise?” and were provided with a list of male and female celebrities to select from.

Drake has finally released a statement about a shooting at his OVO Festival after party in Toronto. The shooting occurred on Tuesday 4th August and Drake released a statement ten days after the tragic incident which left two dead. Kanye hasn’t released a single in over five months, since he dropped a taster for his upcoming seventh album Swish called ‘All Day’ back on March 2nd, and the wait proved to be too much for one fan who started a petition on the White House’s ‘We The People’ website on Wednesday (August 12th) which quickly gained the requisite amount of signatures within a day to force the President to respond to it.

The stage invader who interrupted Kanye West’s headline set at Glastonbury at the weekend has finally broken his silence. As you probably already know, the perpetrator was English comedian Simon Brodkin, masquerading as his on-stage persona Lee Nelson.

A Glastonbury audience member has been criticised online for flying a flag showing a still from Kim Kardashian’s sex tape during Kanye West’s headlining set. Kardashian, who is four months pregnant, attended her husband’s Pyramid Stage set at the British festival on Saturday night and later called it the ‘craziest show ever’ on twitter.

The flag showed a still from the tape, which featured Kardashian and her former partner Ray-J and was leaked without the reality star’s consent in 2007. The flag also had the words “Get Down, Girl, Get Head Get Down,” written across it.

With a matter of hours to go before he takes to the stage for his controversial Glastonbury headline show on Saturday night, it seems as if Kanye West is already making his presence felt. He’s bringing such a large entourage to the festival that other bands’ guestlists have had to be restricted.

British indie stars The Maccabees stated to BBC Radio 1’s Newsbeat that they “were told we only had one guest each this time,” according to the band’s guitarist Felix White. “I've not got that many other friends who want to come, but I'm just making a point!”

An Instagram picture of Kendall Jenner posted last month, has just beaten Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s record to become the most liked image on the photo sharing site.

Kendall Jenner is the new queen of Instagram.

The pic, which Kendall uploaded on May 25th, shows the model lying on the floor in a gorgeous white dress, with her hair spread out and the ends making little hearts. The 19 year old had simply captioned the image with a heart emoticon.

The mysterious, hit making duo known as Daft Punk might soon be lifting their helmets ever so slightly in a new documentary titled, ‘Daft Punk Unchained’. Made by BBC Worldwide France, the doc is the first to made about the group, who have been shrouded in secrecy since their formation in 1993.

‘Daft Punk Unchained’ will air June 24th.

Directed by Hervé Martin Delpierre and co-written with Marina Rozenma, ‘Unchained’ will tell the story of Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, aka Daft Punk, using archival interview footage from 1996 to 2013 and "rare documents”.

Kanye West delivered an inspiring speech to graduates of the Los Angeles Trade Technical College on Friday night, telling students, "When you're the absolute best, you get hated on the most.”

With a little under a month to go before it kicks off, probably the most talked-about thing about Glastonbury 2015 has been the booking of Kanye West for the Saturday night headline slot. In a new interview, the festival’s chief organiser Emily Eavis has revealed that she has received death threats as a result.

Amber Rose appears to be showing some regret over comments she made earlier this week accusing ex Kanye West of not writing his own songs. The model had told an audience during an appearance at the Supper Club in LA that West’s songs were actually written by rapper Travi$ Scott, who happened to be onstage at the time.

Rose seems to regret the comments she made about her ex.

“Stop playing n—s I used to f–k,” Amber told the club’s DJ after grabbing his microphone. “Stop. Why don’t we play the n—a who writes the songs for the other n—a? Travi$ Scott.” Despite being on stage at the time Scott did his best to stay out of the situation and opted not to react to Rose’s comments.

A study by the University of London and Imperial College has concluded that the emergence of hip hop has had the biggest impact on the charts of any genre since the 1950s. The study also found that the importance of The Beatles may have been overstated, suggesting that the fab five did not spark a musical revolution.

Kanye West’s performance at the Brit Awards will not be the subject of an investigation by the media regulator Ofcom, despite the heavily-bleeped track receiving more than 150 complaints.

Back on February 25th the Brits were televised live for the first time in many years by ITV, and rapper’s new track ‘All Day’ was one of the biggest talking points of the evening. With a reported 39 uses of the ‘n’ word throughout the performance, which featured flamethrowers and a gang of hooded back-up dancers, it attracted 151 complaints.

It looks like Glastonbury is going to keep the speculation about its third and final headliner going pretty much right up until the festival itself. Michael Eavis, the owner of Worthy Farm where the three-day event is held, has revealed that the announcement will come on June 1st.

The NME reported that Eavis was speaking at an event at London’s Victoria and Albert Museum on Tuesday evening (April 21st), describing the history of the prestigious festival. It was when he was talking to attendees and posing for pictures afterwards that he made the revelation – adding that the artist would be a “big one”.

Less than a month after its star-studded New York re-launch, the subscription-only streaming service Tidal is showing early signs that it’s struggling. It’s already tanked on the app store, falling out of the top 700 iPhone downloads chart, and now it appears that Kanye West has deleted all references he’s made to the service on social media.

On Wednesday (April 22nd) Complex reported that the rapper had erased all mentions he’s made to Tidal on Twitter, despite being one of the most prominent supporters of the re-launch, standing alongside Jay Z at the famous press conference on March 30th and appearing in several ad spots for it subsequently. He also changed his profile picture from Tidal’s logo back to the front cover of his 2010 album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

The festival, which is known for always coming through with surprise performances, ends its two weekend run this Sunday with Drake closing the festivities with a headlining set.

Kanye gave the Coachella crowd a treat on Saturday night when he performed with The Weeknd.

West had been rumoured to be making a surprise appearance during Drake’s set, but it appears the Yezzus rapper just couldn’t wait to surprise the Coachella crowd. Joining Tesfaye as he delivered a cappella cover of the rapper’s hit, West then launched into his own four song set.

A limited edition set of 500 signed copies of Kim Kardashian’s upcoming selfie book have flown off the virtual shelf, selling out less than a minute after going on sale. Website Glit.com was offering the special pre-sale copies, just under a month before the book is released to the masses.

Kim’s selfie book contains 352 pages.

The special copies retailed for $60 and were each signed and numbered by Kim. They also came bearing a special cover, featuring a bikini-clad image of the 32 year old. After the quick sell out Kim thanked her fans on Twitter writing, 'Thanks to everyone who got a copy of Selfish on Gilt! Crazy it sold out in one minute!'

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West paid a visit to a twelfth century Armenian church in Jerusalem on Monday to have their daughter baptized.

The Jerusalem Post reported that Kim and Kanye took 22 month old North to Saint James Cathedral in Jerusalem’s Old City quarter. This was later confirmed by a representative for the Kardashians.
