But the new presenter has yet to reveal the full line-up
The Top Gear presenting line-up - it’s had more drama than the cobbles of Corrie and the square of Eastenders. Since Jeremy Clarkson had his contract ended with the BBC One show after a fracas with a producer, there’s been rumours (Jodie Kidd), possibilities (Jensen Button) and definite nos (Sue Perkins, who had to quit Twitter after the trolls told her they didn’t want to see her on the show).

Evans, who is happily married to his third wife Natasha Shishmanian, thinks the concept itself is outdated.
British TV presenter Chris Evans has declared that the concept of marriage “doesn’t work” and is outdated.
The 49 year old star and future presenter of ‘Top Gear’ visited a marriage counsellor and a sex therapist for the purposes of researching his new book ‘Call the Midlife’, and confessed that after having done so, it caused him to look at his own life and predict any marital issues that might lie ahead.
Evans has been married three times, and is currently happily wed to 35 year old Natasha Shishmanian, but reckons that the institution itself doesn’t apply to the 21st century and is a betrayal of human instincts.

'TFI Friday' is returning for 10 more episodes later this year, but after that, Evans will have to concentrate on 'Top Gear'.
‘TFI Friday’ may be returning to Channel 4 later this year after its successful comeback, but its presenter Chris Evans has revealed that after the planned crop of shows he is “not allowed” to present any further series because of his ‘Top Gear’ duties.
The off-the-wall ‘90s favourite returned for a one-off special to celebrate its twentieth anniversary in June this year and was well-received (except for Lewis Hamilton killing the momentum stone dead at the end), but Evans has conceded that his BBC duties must take priority after the planned 10-episode series of ‘TFI Friday’ finishes.

‘Top Gear’ is one of the BBC’s biggest international money makers, but will Chris Evans turn off viewers?
As the BBC prepares to relaunch ‘Top Gear’ bosses are said to be panicking that their new host Chris Evans isn’t internationally famous enough to keep the show’s global audience. ‘Top Gear’ has always been one of the Beeb’s biggest international money makers, but there is concern that Evans’ lack of notoriety might turn off international viewers.
Chris Evans will be fronting the relaunched ‘Top Gear’ next year.
The final series of ‘Top Gear’ fronted by Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May brought in a massive 350million viewers in 214 territories. The show also collected £50million in commercial revenue for the BBC in that 12 months alone.
The presenter has described reports that Ball will join ‘Top Gear’ as ‘hilariously inaccurate’.
‘Top Gear’ host Chris Evans has denied that his good friend Zoe Ball will be joining him when the BBC motoring show returns next year. Ball was said to be the frontrunner in the race to find Evan’s co-host for the series, having reportedly excelled during a screen test.

The model was hotly tipped to join the revamped show’s new line-up.
Former model Jodie Kidd has revealed she’s turned down a presenting job on the new series of ‘Top Gear’ saying that she feared the gig would ‘take over her soul’. Kidd had been the favourite to join Chris Evans and become the show’s first female presenter but now it seems Zoe Ball could be joining the line-up instead.
Model Jodie Kidd will not be ‘Top Gear’s’ new presenter.
Speaking to The Telegraph, Kidd confirmed a woman would definitely be joining the new ‘Top Gear’ but added that it will not be her. “Am I doing it? I am not," she told the newspaper. “I feel greatly honoured that people think I could possibly be good enough to fill those shoes, especially as a woman.”

He may be following Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May out of the BBC to help with the trio’s new Amazon Prime show, but executive producer Andy Wilman has given his backing to ‘Top Gear’s new presenter Chris Evans.
While speaking to Broadcast magazine about the new show, Wilman was asked for his thoughts on what was going on back at the BBC with what remains of ‘Top Gear’. He said that he was satisfied with Evans’ appointment in June this year, as it demonstrated that the Beeb are serious about breathing new life into it, after he and Clarkson brought it back to the network in 2002.

Marvel fans will love the action mayhem in this Avengers sequel, but everyone else will vividly feel the fatigue that has descended over this franchise. After the bright spark of originality in last summer's Guardians of the Galaxy, we're back to the same tired formula involving terrific actors battling for screen time in between gratuitous, brutal action sequences that are so digitally animated that they're technically cartoons.
The film opens in the middle of the action as Captain America (Chris Evans) leads Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye (Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson and Jeremy Renner) to recapture an Asgardian sceptre. Tony then discovers that the sceptre could be useful for Ultron, his artificial intelligence project to create a global peacekeeping force. But this goes badly wrong as Ultron (James Spader) springs to life and decides instead to obliterate humanity to make space for his population of smart machines. So the team races from America to Africa, Korea and Eastern Europe, facing off against Ultron and his super-powered twin cohorts Pietro and Wanda (Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen), who of course defect to the Avengers. They also get help from a human-computer entity called The Vision (Paul Bettany).
Yes, there are a lot of characters in this film, and writer-director Joss Whedon is exceptionally good at giving each of them something to do, both dramatically and in the thick of the action. These brief moments of humour and emotional depth are what make the movie enjoyable, giving the solid actors some meaty material to play with.
