James Hetfield keeps bees

Away from the stage, Hetfield has a surprising hobby: he keeps bees and makes his own honey at his Colorado ranch.

In an interview with Bad Beekeeping, he shared: "I had to move a hive one time … I'm in my bee suit, everything is fine… [but] one area of my ankle was exposed and, of course, I end up with about 20 bee stings."
