Their concerts have hit every continent

Metallica became the first band to play on all seven continents in 2013 after performing a gig in Antarctica for a group of scientists.

On the occasion, they shared the achievement on YouTube, saying: "On December 8, 2013 we set a world record by becoming the first and only band in history to perform concerts on all seven continents."
