BLACKPINK to release Deadline EP next month
BLACKPINK have a brand-new EP coming around a month after they conclude their Deadline world tour.
BLACKPINK will follow their world tour with the new EP Deadline on February 27.
The YG Entertainment four‑piece — Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa and Rosé — are currently wrapping up their Deadline world tour, which began on July 5, 2025, in Goyang, South Korea, and is set to finish on January 26, 2026, at Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Stadium.
A full tracklist for the EP has yet to be confirmed, but the release is expected to include their 2025 single Jump. The group shared a teaser trailer announcing that the project will arrive at 12am EST / 1pm KST.
Previous EPs include 2018’s Square Up and 2019’s Kill This Love.
Deadline marks BLACKPINK’s first group release since Born Pink in 2022, a period during which all four members pursued major solo ventures. Lisa previously hinted that the group had reunited in the studio, telling Variety last May that they were “super excited to get back together and go on tour” and had recently recorded new material.
Over the past two years, each member has built a strong individual profile. Lisa launched her own management label, LLOUD, signed with RCA Records for solo promotions and made her acting debut in HBO’s The White Lotus. Jisoo established her agency BLISSOO and expanded her acting career with roles in the K‑drama Influenza and the film adaptation of Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint. Rosé collaborated with Bruno Mars on the Grammy‑nominated hit APT. and became the first female K‑pop soloist to receive Variety’s Global Hitmaker of the Year award.
