Just a matter of hours after he checked out of a rehab centre, the former NBA star Lamar Odom is rumoured to be considering a return to reality TV.

The former L.A. Lakers star, 37 years old, completed a 35-day stint at a rehab clinic in the city on Thursday (January 5th), and was spotted on a mini-shopping spree in Beverly Hills that afternoon.

It was a stay that was supposed to help him finish off his demons associated with drug and alcohol addiction once and for all – though other reports suggested that it was the anniversary of the death of his son that had precipitated him checking in.

More than a year after his dramatic hospitalisation following a drug overdose that left him in a coma, Lamar Odom has broken his silence about what happened that night in a new interview with ‘The Doctors’.

The former NBA star, 37, was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel in October 2015, around the time that his divorce from his former wife Khloe Kardashian was in full swing. In a promotional clip from a full interview that’s due to air in January, and which was filmed a few weeks ago, he was asked by Dr. Travis Stork about what he remembered that night.

Over a year after he suffered an overdose that nearly killed him, Lamar Odom has sought professional help and checked himself into rehab, according to reports.

Just three days after it was confirmed that he and his ex-wife Khloe Kardashian will be finalising their divorce this week, People and other outlets reported on Tuesday (December 13th) that the former NBA professional had checked into a rehabilitation center in the Los Angeles area a little over a week ago.

Fans are expressing concern for Lamar Odom’s well-being after it was reported that the recovering addict was kicked off a flight out of Los Angeles for getting so drunk that he vomited on-board the plane.

Lamar Odom’s health is slowly improving in the wake of his dramatic hospitalisation three months ago, according to his estranged wife Khloe Kardashian.

The reality TV star, 31, briefly muscled in on her elder sister Kourtney’s appearance on the ‘Ellen DeGeneres Show’ via FaceTime on Monday (January 25th) to give an update on her husband’s condition, after he was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel back in October.

Disgraced Lamar Odom appears to have found a friend in the form of Bruce Jenner, the separated husband of Kris Jenner, the Kardashian family matriarch.

Sources connected to both Bruce Jenner and Lamar tell TMZ.com that Lamar has been spending a lot of time with Bruce at his swanky new home in Malibu. Apparently they spend hours together during which old Mr Jenner counsels Lamar on life issues including how to stay clean. Sources reveal Khloe shouted at her husband on discovering the pipe and called him a 'liar'; he even seemed not entirely sober on their meeting and supposedly accused her of stealing the drugs from him. The Odoms' marriage has been a slippery slope for the past few months in light of several women coming forward to confess that he'd been sleeping around and as well as his repeated refusal to get help for his addictions.

Odom's falling off the wagon and into a family-wrecking drugs spiral has been one of the stories of the summer and finally looks to be coming to an end after it looked as though Lamar was ready to let everything go for one more hit. Since the end of the previous NBA season, Lamar apparently fell off the rails and went on drug binges and may have even cheated on his wife as his drug problem got progressively worse. Recently, he was arrested for a DUI offence on 30 August, an incident that may have triggered his entry into rehab.

Khloe Kardashian tweeted in the wake of her husband's arrest on Friday 30th August. Lamar Odom's arrest for DUI has coincided with press coverage of their, alleged, marital difficulties and Odom's apparent substance abuse problem. Kardashian implied she is remaining strong despite the overwhelming media coverage of her relationship difficulties and her husband's legal problems.

One of the last times the couple were photographed together in June, leaving Kim Kardashian's baby shower.

Kardashian tweeted yesterday, Sunday 1st September, writing "As much as I wish I were made of steel. I'm not." Later posting another comment, attempting to make light of her previous text, the 29-year-old reality star added "I'm pretty damn close to it though".

Free-agent forward Lamar Odom has begun his battle against an unspecified drug problem in a Los Angeles hotel room, with family and friends, according to ESPN.

A TMZ.com report on Sunday (August 25, 2013) suggested that Odom - who's married to the reality star Khloe Kardashian - had been missing for 72 hours, though this was disputed shortly afterwards. His agent Jeff Schwartz would not reveal the basketball star's whereabouts, although he told ESPN's Marc Stein that his client and friend was safe, saying, "Lamar is not missing. His wife knows exactly where he is."

TMZ's reports have focused squarely on Odom's alleged extensive drug use, though Khloe Kardashian reacted angrily to the on-going speculation, tweeting, "Really hard to sit here and listen to people talk s--- about my family."

Khloe Kardashian's family seems to be rallying round Lamar Odom after reports alleged he was struggling with a drug addiction. Sources close to the family have claimed that whilst some of the members are shocked, they are focussing on Odom's recovery and just want the best for their relatives.

Kim Kardashian was shocked to hear her brother-in-law Odom has been struggling with a substance abuse problem for the last couple of years. According to a source, speaking to E!, Kim is fully supportive of her sister, Khloe Kardashian Odom and her marriage to Lamar, saying she "would like to see them work it out" but that "she only wants what's best for Khloe." A source also claimed the entire family "is focused on getting Lamar better."

Lamar Odom's downward spiral appears to date back further than first assumed, with TMZ.com reporting that the basketball ace was "deep into drugs" while he was playing for the Dallas Mavericks and there is evidence he was doing the same while playing for the Lakers.

Sources connected to the Westin hotel in Memphis tell the entertainment website that when Lamar stayed in one of the guest rooms while playing for the Mavericks, he left "major carpet damage" including "quarter-sized burn marks." The damage was said to be so bad that the hotel redecorated the room. 

Sources say hotel employees also found "white powder" on the desk blotter and the room smelt of noxious smoke. Insiders say "it was obvious there was serious drug use going on in the hotel room."

Lamar Odom's drug addiction was recently aired out by his disgruntled wife Khloe Kardashian, who admitted that her NBA star husband has been battling an addiction to a cocktail of recreational drugs for the past two years or so. The main concern is that his disappearance is related to his ongoing problems with drugs, which may have exceeded the point of recreational use with some 'less' harmful narcotics, and morphed into a full-blown addiction to some serious substances. In particular, it is assumed that Lamar has developed a taste for the highly addictive and damaging crack cocaine, which he may currently be gorging on during his mysterious, unannounced leave.

Khloe Kardashian's marriage to Lamar Odom may well be over if sources speaking to two US entertainment websites are correct. It appears Odom has been battling with substance abuse issues and this has, allegedly, exacerbated pre-existing marital issues.

Although this may be news to us, it certainly hasn't come as any surprise to those close to the couple, according to sources speaking to TMZ. It appears Kardashian encouraged Odom to visit rehab last August. It seems Odom was unwilling to tackle his problem as Kardashian hired detectives to follow her husband's movements whilst in the San Diego facility. It seems Odom made numerous attempts to leave and did so after three weeks. Odom, according to the report, did maintain a sober lifestyle for a while, managing to play well in his final season with the Los Angeles Clippers.

It looks as though Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are holding crisis talks over their marriage, with the couple believed to be in 'make or break' discussions over whether their marriage can be brought back from the brink. According to TMZ, the main threat to their marriage is Lamar, or rather his ongoing drug abuse problem, which has gotten so severe that it could spell the end of their marriage for good.

According to TMZ's report, Lamar has been struggling with an unspecified drug problem for at least 2 years, a problem that apparently got so bad that Khloe ordered her husband to stay at a San Diego rehab facility last August, something that he was so opposed to that Khloe had to hire 24 hour surveillance to make sure he didn't try to escape. After only three weeks Odom left the rehab clinic for good, although he apparently left the facility clean and was able to play a full season for the Clippers without his drug problems re-emerging. However, once the season was over he soon slipped back into his old ways and now their marriage is really feeling the strain.

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom, despite what rumours may suggest, are not divorcing. According to Kris Jenner, the couple have not discussed divorce and have no intention of filing for it.

A number of women have claimed to have had relations with Odom. One report, in the Daily Mail, suggests Odom has been having an affair since the night of Kim Kardashian's baby shower. The woman who claims in media outlets to be Odom's mistress, Polina Polonsky, states Odom spent a number of evenings with her in June. According to this report, Odom was away from home on June 9th and between June 18th and 21st. She alleges the couple stayed at a downtown L.A. motel where they would not be recognised.

Governor Cuomo has ordered reality star Khloe Kardashian to stop selling t-shirts with an emblem resembling a New York state logo. Should Khloe and husband Lamar Odom not comply, the state may sue over the similarities between the crest and the emblem of the state Department of Agriculture's Pride in New York symbol.

According to the New York Daily News, the administration has ordered a high end clothing line run by Khloe to cease selling a designer t-shirt that bears a circular logo featuring the Statue of Liberty surrounded by the words 'New York' and 'Rich Soil' - the name of the logo. State officials believe the logo resembles the Department of Agriculture created to identify food grown in New York. "The State of New York has invested substantial time, effort and resources creating the respect and goodwill associated with the trademark," Susan Rosenthal, a lawyer for the Department of Agriculture, argued in a letter sent to Rich Soil last week.

The Kardashians are no strangers to high profile lawsuits and have won their fair few too. Kim and Kourtney were named in a $5 million lawsuit against QuickTrim, a weight loss product they endorsed. Khloe and Lamar are estimated to be worth about $70 million.

Keeping up with the Kardashians stars Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian have become the latest victims of the “celebrity swatting” prank. Honestly, what will people come up with next to harass Hollywood dwellers! According to TMZ, this Friday police descended on the Kardashian home in response to a call, claiming that Odom was having a heated argument with a friend at home and that the friend had shot the baller. Upon arriving on the scene, however, the cops entered the home with guns drawn, only to find Lamar safe and sound inside. No friend was present and neither was Khloe, according to TMZ. So it was just a case of a prank wasting the officers’ time then.

This is not the first incidence of the so-called swatting prank. In fact, a number of A-listers have fallen victim to it, including Diddy, Magic Johnson, Clint Eastwood, Rihanna and Chris Brown. Lamar and Khloe are the second couple in the Kardashian clan to fall victim to the prank. Before them Khloe’s mom Kris Jenner and her husband Bruce were also swatted recently. So far though, apart from some wasted time and possibly a broken window or two, the admittedly immature joke hasn’t caused any harm to any of the victims.

Khloe Kardashian and husband Lamar Odom might be doing an excellent (well, sort of) job of keeping up with their publicity, but they’re not doing well with their charity. The charity organization Cathy’s kids was founded by Odom to help the underprivileged and children with cancer in honor of the basketballer’s late mother.

According to an investigation by ESPN’s “Outside the Lines”, Odom’s charity is yet to give a single cent to cancer related causes. But Cathy’s Kids has raised more than $2.2 million to date, so where’s all that money going? Well, you may have already seen this coming, but the “charity” has funded two elite traveling basketball teams. Guess those underprivileged players need all the help they can get. The charity also allegedly paid Odom’s high school coach Jerry DeGregorio an annual salary, and yet Cathy’s Kids has run into around $256,000 into the red. Well, if you’re going to be siphoning funds, you may want to pay some attention to the books, otherwise things like this tend to happen.

At least Lamar's teammates are being clothed and fed.
