Lamar Odom's Health Is Gradually Improving, According To Khloe Kardashian

Nearly four months after his overdose and hospitalisation, Lamar Odom is gradually recovering but his long-term future health is uncertain.
Lamar Odom’s health is slowly improving in the wake of his dramatic hospitalisation three months ago, according to his estranged wife Khloe Kardashian.
The reality TV star, 31, briefly muscled in on her elder sister Kourtney’s appearance on the ‘Ellen DeGeneres Show’ via FaceTime on Monday (January 25th) to give an update on her husband’s condition, after he was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel back in October.
“Lamar is doing great, by the way,” 36 year old Kourtney had said, before Ellen picked up the phone to her sister. “He was over over the weekend.”

Ellen wanted to know whether the 36 year old NBA star had become “more aware” during his lengthy recovery. “He hadn't been out, and now I guess he's been to the house and he's walking around and talking and remembering things?” she asked.
“He's doing really good. His long-term memory is great,” Khloe replied. “His short-term memory isn't so good, but if I met someone earlier today I probably wouldn't remember either, so that's understandable. But he's great."

"He's hung out with Kourt’s and Kim’s kids. He loves family time. So, he's been doing really good. I think it makes him feel good to be around everyone, too, and to just be in a happy environment over obviously where he was.”
Kourtney added that the family was calling Odom’s recovery as “a miracle”, in light of his condition at one point being so desperate that doctors believed he only had four hours to live. She also said that they had explained the situation to Odom, a former L.A. Lakers player, himself and that he was taking it in his stride.
“Every day he'll ask me, like, 'So, what happened to me?' Today specifically, he was like, 'How many tubes did I have in me again?' And I'm like, 'I don't know what's too serious to tell you,' but I'm honest. I'm like, 'Well, just a lot. I didn't count. I don't know.' But it's good that he wants to know these answers. Before he didn't want to know he wasn't ready to know. So, it's great that he's at the point that he's ready to know everything happened.”
