After learning that the word Dixie carried offensive associations with the Confederacy, she dropped it from the name of her Stampede attraction and offered a refreshingly uncomplicated lesson in accountability.
She said: “As soon as you realise that [something] is a problem, you should fix it. Don’t be a dumbass.”
