A football fanatic

Rod is a passionate football fan and is known for his support of Scottish Premiership club Celtic - regularly attending the team's matches.

Stewart even had trials with London club Brentford as a teen, but later said he wasn’t committed enough to carve out a professional career in the game.

The star attributes his love of the sport for saving him from becoming reliant on alcohol.

He recalled: "Especially Sunday mornings, I couldn't drink too much, because it would have ruined my game. So, football sort of saved me a little bit."
