Teaming up with Ronnie Wood in the Faces

Stewart became firm friends with Ronnie Wood during his time with the Jeff Beck Group and the pair later joined the Faces together.

The group - which also included Kenney Jones, Ian McLagan and Ronnie Lane - had a hit with 'Stay With Me', which reached the top ten of the UK Singles Chart in 1971.

However, Rod left in 1975 to focus on his solo career.

As for Ronnie, the guitarist joined The Rolling Stones in the same year and remains a member of the legendary group to this day.
