Glastonbury on the horizon
In June, Rod will perform at the Glastonbury Festival in the legends slot, marking his first appearance at Worthy Farm since 2002.
After the news was confirmed, the singer - who will be following in the footsteps of Dolly Parton, Lionel Richie and Kylie Minogue by playing the coveted Sunday afternoon slot - said he was "proud, ready and more than able to pleasure and titillate my friends at Glastonbury".
This came after Stewart declared he would be finished with "large-scale world tours" once he completed his 2025 shows in Europe and North America - although he is insistent he won't be retiring.
