Pixies to mark four decades as a band with 2026 Pixies 40 tour
Punk legends Pixies are celebrating their 40th anniversary with a UK and Europe tour in 2026.

Pixies are gearing up for a landmark celebration in 2026, unveiling the first wave of dates for their global headline tour, Pixies 40.
Kicking off in the UK next May, the tour will span Europe through July, marking four decades since the band first exploded onto the alternative scene.
Founding members Black Francis, Joey Santiago, and David Lovering will be joined by bassist Emma Richardson as they hit major cities across the UK, Ireland, Germany, Italy, and The Netherlands. Among the highlights is their long-awaited debut at London’s Royal Albert Hall — a fitting tribute to the country that first championed their sound.
Since forming in Boston in 1986, Pixies have carved out a legacy as one of the most influential and uncompromising bands in modern rock. Their raw, genre-defying style — first heard on Come On Pilgrim and later cemented with Surfer Rosa and the Platinum-certified Doolittle — reshaped the sonic landscape and inspired countless artists in their wake.
The upcoming tour arrives more than 20 years after their seismic reunion at Coachella, which reignited global demand and introduced their music to a new generation. With five acclaimed albums released since 2014, including 2024’s The Night The Zombies Came, Pixies continue to evolve while staying true to their explosive roots.
Tickets go on sale here Friday (26.09.25) at 10am UK time.
