Linka Moja to join Roger Daltrey as a special guest on his UK tour
Linka Moja will accompany The Who frontman Roger Daltrey on his forthcoming tour of the UK.
Roger Daltrey will be joined by special guest Linka Moja on his upcoming UK tour.
The legendary rocker will be accompanied by Linka when he hits the road in April and May with special solo performances that are packed with classic songs by The Who, solo hits and his famous Q+A sessions, in which he tells all to the fans who have been with him through the decades.
Linka combines folk melodies, rock instrumentation and soulful rhythms to create a soundscape that captivates audiences around the world.
The artist's performances have been hailed for their raw emotion and electrifying energy, making every live gig an unforgettable experience.
Linka released the single 'Serial Monogamist' in 2024 as well as a cover of the Pixies track 'Where Is My Mind'. Her music has been influenced by 90s alt-rock bands such as the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Nirvana, while her lyrical style is reminiscent of early Coldplay.
Her personal inspirations are the groundbreaking female singers of the early 2000s, such as Paramore's Hayley Williams and No Doubt's Gwen Stefani.
Linka was inspired to release her music after a chance encounter with Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder where she played her unreleased songs to him.
She was then invited to play at Ohana Festival, which inspired her to record her debut EP 'Cough Drops' in 2023.
Tickets for many of Daltrey's shows have already sold out as fans eagerly await the chance to listen to his back catalogue and hear stories about his extraordinary career.
The 80-year-old musician will be accompanied by a nine-piece band that consists of regular The Who collaborator Simon Townshend (guitar/vocals) alongside John Hogg (bass), Doug Boyle (guitar), Steve Weston (harmonica), Jody Linscott (percussion), Billy Nicholls (BV), Katie Jacoby (violin), Geraint Watkins (keyboard) and Scott Devours (drums).
Roger said: "Here we go again! After touring the US with this band of phenomenal musicians, I can't wait to get back on the road in the UK with these shows.
"It's a joy to be on stage performing – up close and personal for the audience, chatting with them and playing familiar songs in an unfamiliar way."
