BTS tease secret deluxe track as SWIM storms to no.1
BTS have thanked fans for sending SWIM to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 while revealing a surprise bonus track hidden on the deluxe LP of ARIRANG.
BTS have dropped a bombshell for fans, revealing that the deluxe LP edition of their new album ARIRANG will include a secret bonus track — a song the members say Suga has been desperate to release for years.
During a live Weverse broadcast on April 1, the group - comprising RM, Suga, Jin, V, J‑Hope, Jimin and Jungkook - celebrated their latest chart triumph after SWIM debuted at No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
But it was the unexpected music tease that sent ARMY into meltdown.
The members spilled: “We’ve got a hidden track on the deluxe LP coming April 3.
“It’s a song Suga felt strongly about, and it’s finally being released. It’s really special.”
The announcement came as the group thanked fans for the record‑breaking success of SWIM, the lead single from their fifth full‑length album.
RM admitted he woke up in disbelief at the chart news.
He said: “I fell asleep exhausted and woke up at 3 AM to see everything going crazy.
“It’s all thanks to our fans.”
Jin added that the moment felt even more meaningful after the group’s military service.
He said: “It’s our first album after returning, so seeing it do this well is really special. We wanted to celebrate with ARMY.”
Released on March 20, ARIRANG features 14 tracks — and fans have streamed them with historic force. Excluding the interlude No. 29, all 13 vocal tracks entered the Billboard Hot 100, with SWIM topping not only the Hot 100 but also the Global 200 and Global Ex‑US charts.
In a staggering milestone, BTS became the first artist in Billboard history to occupy the entire Top 10 of the Global Ex‑US chart, with all 13 tracks landing at No.1 through No.13.
