Sharon and Kelly Osbourne delivered a moving tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne as the Black Sabbath legend was posthumously honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the BRIT Awards.

Introduced by a video message from Dolly Parton, the mother‑daughter duo took to the Manchester stage on Saturday (28.02.26) to celebrate Ozzy’s legacy following his death in July 2025 at the age of 76.

Sharon, 73, accepted the award on his behalf, telling the Co‑op Live crowd: “I’m honoured to accept this award for my gorgeous husband. God knows, I wish he was here to accept it himself.”

She reflected on Ozzy’s journey from a working‑class upbringing in Birmingham to becoming one of the most influential figures in rock history, acknowledging both the highs and the “very, very real low times” he faced along the way.

Sharon said: “He never stopped pushing himself to do better — personally and professionally.

“Wherever we were in the world, he was always proud to be that working‑class Brummie.”

Sharon dedicated the award not only to Ozzy but also to his bandmates and the fans who filled the streets of Birmingham for his memorial.

She continued: “He may not be here, but he left us an amazing body of work that will never be forgotten by the country that made him.”

Kelly followed with a brief but heartfelt message: “Thank you for loving my father as much as we do.”

She then lightened the moment with a nod to Ozzy’s beloved Aston Villa, joking: “I hope I don’t disrespect Manchester by saying this… but up the Villa.”

The tribute was followed by a powerhouse performance of No More Tears, fronted by Robbie Williams and featuring longtime Ozzy collaborators Adam Wakeman, Robert Trujillo, Tommy Clufetos and Zakk Wylde — a fitting salute to the metal icon’s enduring impact.
