International pop stardom

Following her debut, Fox enjoyed a string of international hits including Do Ya Do Ya (Wanna Please Me) and Nothing’s Gonna Stop Me Now. She became a global pop star, touring extensively and building a strong fanbase across Europe, the US and beyond.

On her 1988 single I Wanna Have Some Fun Sam teamed up with Brooklyn hip hop and R'n'B collective Full Force.

On the album of the same name she worked with an array of collaborators such as Stock Aitken Waterman, Steve Power and Steve Lovell.

As well as gaining a huge following through her music, Sam's loyal fans from her modelling days also continued to stick with her.
