Page 3 to pin-up queen!
Samantha Fox was born on April 15, 1966, in Mile End, East London, and raised in a close-knit family. She showed an interest in performing from a young age, attending stage school and entering talent competitions.
Her life changed at 16 when her mother entered her into a modelling contest, leading to her becoming a Page 3 girl in The Sun newspaper - a job that quickly catapulted her into the spotlight.
Recalling her first shoot at the age of 16, she said: "He was a very famous photographer at the time. He just said, 'Can I take some test shoots?' and he said, 'I really believe you could be a big star'.
"My mum was with me and she knew he was very tasteful, and I rang my dad who at first wasn't really sure.
"And I said, 'Well, as long as no-one sees them as I've got my A-levels to do at school on Monday', but they went front page on the Sunday, and I had to go to school.
"I was shocked and so were the kids at school!
"I was brought up on Page 3, we are a very working class family, and Page 3 is very tasteful."
