Keith Richards 'had his blood changed'
Third is the Rolling Stones' guitarist, secondary vocalist, and co-principal songwriter, Keith Richards.
The 81-year-old music legend was said to have undergone a blood transfusion in Switzerland in 1973 to get sober and overcome his heroin addiction.
However, Richards debunked the tale.
He said: "Someone asked me how I cleaned up, so I told them I went to Switzerland and had my blood completely changed."
The 'Satisfaction' hitmaker even made up a story because he was "f****** sick" of answering the question about whether he went to the mainland European country to replace his blood.
Richards continued: "I was just fooling around.
"I opened my jacket and said, 'How do you like my blood change?' That's all it was - a joke.
"I was f****** sick of answering that question. So I gave them a story."
