On Sale Now: The Darkness announce 2026 UK arena tour celebrating their greatest hits
The Darkness will embark on a seven‑date UK arena tour in December 2026, performing a career‑spanning set of their biggest songs.
The Darkness have announced a major UK arena tour for December 2026, marking their largest run of headline shows in two decades.
The tour will celebrate the band’s platinum‑selling catalogue with a full greatest‑hits set spanning all eight studio albums, from their 2003 breakthrough Permission To Land to 2025’s chart‑topping Dreams On Toast.
Frontman Justin Hawkins said the shows will offer “the very bestest of The Darkness,” promising a high‑energy production built around their most recognisable songs and fan favourites.
He said: “The very bestest of The Darkness! Imagine yourself, luxuriating in the warm sonic and visual embrace of the best ever Darkness songs, played by the best ever Darkness band, in the best ever rock music venues of mainland Great Britain! You will float with us on the soft whoopee cushion of undulating rock tones, swim with us in the warm seas of loquacious balladry, jump with us in the heady miasma of pop rock, and also do the head bang with us in the electrical thundery storm of HEVY METUL… Roll up, roll up - the Darkness Carnival is coming to town! (sic)"
The band will be joined across all dates by Brothers Osborne, the GRAMMY‑winning American country‑rock duo, along with UK rock outfit A.
The Best Of The Darkness UK Tour will visit seven arenas, opening on December 8 at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro and concluding with the band’s first‑ever headline show at The O2 in London on December 16.
