Black Sabbath's eye-watering final gig prices leave fans stunned
Black Sabbath's final concert ticket prices have left some fans gobsmacked.

The heavy metal legends are set to play one last concert at Birmingham's Villa Park on July 5, which will see the original lineup - Ozzy Osborne, Geezer Butler, Tony Iommi and Bill Ward - reunite for the first time in 20 years.
'Back To The Beginning' will feature a short solo set from frontman Ozzy, 76, before the Prince of Darkness joins the rest of the group for what has been described as his "final bow".
The special one-day event will also include sets from huge metal acts, including Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Gojira, Halestorm, Alice In Chains, Lamb of God, Anthrax and Mastodon.
The stacked bill also includes Billy Corgan (The Smashing Pumpkins), David Draiman (Disturbed), Duff McKagan and Slash (Guns ‘n Roses), Frank Bello (Anthrax), Fred Durst (Limp Bizkit) and Jake E Lee.
Plus, Jonathan Davis (Korn), KK Downing, Lzzy Hale (Halestorm), Mike Bordin (Faith No More), Rudy Sarzo, Sammy Hagar, Scott Ian (Anthrax), Sleep Token ii (Sleep Token), Papa V Perpetua (Ghost), Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine), Wolfgang Van Halen and Zakk Wylde.
With so many names on the lineup, prices were bound to be high, but those trying to bag tickets on Friday morning (14.02.25) didn't anticipate just how extreme they would be.
It was confirmed that prices would start at £197.50. VIP packages, however, are priced between £329.50 and a whopping £2,932,50.
One X user commented: “Love Sabbath and Ozzy but those prices are daylight robbery, don’t think I’ll be giving a toss about getting a ticket. Fortunately I’ve lots of gigs already booked."
Another wrote: “These people have more money than good sense to know that they’re overpriced.”
However, others were thrilled just to secure a ticket, with one writing: “One of the lucky ones. Can’t underestimate how lucky I’ve been to get through, but here we GO! One of the biggest metal gigs of all time, so much meaning, Sabbath fan since primary school! Overwhelmed!"
It's worth noting all profits will go to the charities Cure Parkinson’s, the Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Acorn Children’s Hospice.
Ozzy has stepped away from touring in recent years as he battles spinal injuries and Parkinson's disease.
His wife Sharon Osbourne confirmed this will be his final performance.
