Ariana Grande has fuelled reports she plans to release a new album this summer.
Ariana Grande has shared a series of black‑and‑white studio photos, prompting fresh speculation that she is preparing to release her eighth album in the coming months.
The 32-year-old singer-and-actress posted the images without a caption, but the timing follows a subtle update to her Brighter Days hotline message in March, where she mentioned “counting down the 8s” — widely interpreted as a reference to AG8.
Her Instagram bio was also changed last month to read “see you this summer.”
According to TMZ, the new photos are recent and not archival, with sources claiming Grande has already finished the follow-up to 2024's Eternal Sunshine and is planning to release it later this summer.
The insider added that she is “super excited” about the project and wanted to tease fans with the studio shots.
Grande has worked continuously across music and acting since her teens, and earlier this year told Vogue Japan she recognises the value of slowing down.
She said taking space while filming Wicked helped her grow, adding that the past 15 years have been “pretty non‑stop.”
She said she hopes the next phase of her career will involve "more balance".
