Mel B is the latest Spice Girl to confirm there are no tour plans in place for the 30th anniversary of their debut single Wannabe and album first album Spice.

Although Scary Spice is keen to reunite with Melanie C, Emma Bunton, Geri Horner and Victoria Beckham, unfortunately the tour just hasn't come together.

She told the New York Post's Page Six column: "I’m always the one going: 'Yes, we’re going on tour'. I would love to go on tour. I would love to do music, but it isn’t happening ...

"I’m always ready to go on tour with the Spice Girls. I wouldn’t be sitting here if it weren’t for my other four girls, if I weren’t a part of that kind of girl power crazy roller coaster ride."

Despite the constant speculation surrounding the iconic girl group, Sporty Spice (Melanie C) recently dealt the blow that the 2 Become 1 hitmakers are not planning to hit the stage this year to mark the milestone.

Appearing on The Smallzy Show, she said: “So July will mark the 30th anniversary of Wannabe being released, and then later in the year comes Spice, the first album. So yeah, it’s a big one. And no, there is no reunion. We’re communicating all the time, and we want to do something — who knows when? But I still feel very optimistic, and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that you’ll see the Spice Girls together in the future.”

The girls reunited without Victoria for the Spice World Tour in 2019.
