G-Dragon wraps Übermensch World Tour with BIGBANG reunion and reflects on vocal backlash
G-Dragon surprised fans with a mini BIGBANG reunion at his final concert of his Übermensch World Tour in Seoul.
G-Dragon teased BIGBANG's 20th anniversary plans as they reunited at his Übermensch World Tour closer.
The 37-year-old K-pop idol wrapped his first world tour in eight years at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, South Korea, on Sunday night (14.12.25).
And, fans of the boy band were in for a treat as his bandmates Taeyang and Daesung joined him onstage to perform Home Sweet Home, We Like 2 Party and Fool of Tears.
Teasing BIGBANG's 20th anniversary plans next year, he seemingly suggested they will play Coachella: "BIGBANG will start warming up from April. It's like a workshop."
He laughed: "It's in the US, so don't feel pressured, but if you happen to be studying nearby or traveling, how about it?"
The final concert also saw G-Dragon address the criticism he faced over his vocals at his Goyang concert in March.
The bad weather plagued his set with sound issues.
Making light of the situation, he told the crowd: "My heart was heavy starting the world tour with a natural disaster.
"For 8 months, I worked hard to 'put a roof over it."
The last stop on the world tour was being filmed for an undisclosed project.
G-Dragon revealed: "We installed special high-quality cameras today. It's to capture me looking good, but also to capture you all."
The artist also welcomed beatboxer Wing and Beatpella House onstage for a remix of Heartbreaker.
