The All-American Rejects drop new single Get This
The All-American Rejects have served up the "fun" tune Get This, taken from their forthcoming LP, Sandbox.
The All-American Rejects have shared their latest single, Get This.
Tyson Ritter and co have given fans another taste of their forthcoming LP, Sandbox – the much-awaited follow-up to 2012’s Kids In The Street, due in spring 2026.
The frontman said of the track: “Little hooks will sit in your pockets like a lead weight that won’t shake out in the dryer. Get This was a song born on a drive. It was made in the sunshine on the back porch of our family home. Pure fun like the company it was written around.”
The new offering comes after the band quit the remainder of the Jonas Brothers' tour due to Ritter being placed on "vocal rest".
The Dirty Little Secret rockers had been opening for the Sucker group on their Greetings From Your Hometown tour, but, on November 9, hours before they hit the stage in Buffalo, New York, they announced they would be "stepping away" from the shows because they didn't want to risk the singer causing "any real damage" to his vocal cords.
A social media statement read: “Hey Rejects fam.
“Unfortunately, Tyson has to take some vocal rest, and we will be stepping away from the remainder of the Jonas Brothers tour. His voice needs a little time to bounce back so he doesn’t do any real damage.”
Thanking Kevin, Nick, and Joe Jonas and their fans, they added: “It’s been such an amazing run, and we are bummed to have to cut it short. Massive love to the JoBros, their crew and everyone who’s been singing along every night. You’ve made this tour something special.”
Earlier this year, Ritter joined OnlyFans to help fund the band's music and touring.
The 41-year-old singer quipped that subscribers can expect "full-frontal rock and roll with all access".
He playfully told GQ: "We've always been a band who's got a tongue bursting through the cheek when it comes to our music.
"So why not, you know, do a little peen bursting through a zipper?"
On the "full-frontal rock and roll with all access" statement, he cryptically said: "I'll leave it to the vagueness of that statement to define itself."
