Katy Perry has shared her most vulnerable song to date, bandaids.

The Firework hitmaker - who split from fiancé Orlando Bloom in June and has since struck up a romance with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau - hints at the reasons behind the breakdown in her relationship on the raw track.

The lyrics include: "Hand to God I promise I tried / There's no stone left unturned / It's not what you did, it's what you didn't."

Elsewhere, she belts: "Got so used to you letting me down / No use tryna send flowers now."

However, she later reflects on the good times.

She also sings:  “On the bright side, we had good times / Nеver faked our pictures / Wе were perfect ’til we weren’t… If I had to do it all over again / I would still do it all over again / The love that we made was worth it in the end.”

The 41-year-old pop star - who has a daughter, Daisy Bloom, five, with the 48-year-old Lord of the Rings star - seemingly confirmed her romance with Justin during a concert in October.

The Teenage Dream singer has been linked with the politician for several months, and during her show in Prague last month, she made reference to her current relationship status when she spotted a sign from a fan asking her to marry them.

In a video shared on TikTok, Katy could be heard telling the crowd: "This guy is trying to get me to marry him and he has a ring in his hand.

"No! I am dating someone else for crying out f****** loud."

This isn't the first marriage proposal Katy has received on her Lifetimes tour.

During a show at The O2 arena in London last month, audience member Darren Trenchard was invited onto the stage and took the opportunity to pop the question to Katy - who was previously married to Russell Brand - but she turned him down.

The weekend before, Katy and Justin made their first public appearance as a couple when they paid a visit to the Crazy Horse Paris to celebrate her 41st birthday at the cabaret show.

Pictures obtained by TMZ showed the couple walking out of the French venue holding hands and smiling at one another, with Katy wearing a vivid red dress and the 53-year-old politician in an all-black outfit.

The pair were first romantically linked over the summer, when they were spotted on a date in Montreal, Canada, shortly after the Dark Horse singer split from Orlando.

They were next photographed together kissing on a yacht off the coast of Santa Barbara.
