Victoria Beckham would love the Spice Girls to reunite at Las Vegas Sphere
Victoria Beckham was absent from the Spice Girls' 2019 reunion tour, but ever since she saw Oasis' reunion show, she's been pining to get back onstage with her bandmates.
Victoria Beckham has suggested the Spice Girls could reunite at Las Vegas Sphere.
Posh Spice admits she wouldn't be able to commit to a world tour due to her hectic work schedule running her fashion and beauty empire, and confessed she has no idea if she can "still sing", but she is "tempted" to get back onstage with Emma Bunton, Mel B, Geri Horner and Melanie C.
Speaking on Andy Cohen Live on SiriusXM, Victoria said: "It would be tempting. But could I take on a world tour? No I can’t. I have a job…"
She added: "How good would the Spice Girls be at the Sphere! I love the idea of it. I mean I don’t know if I could even still sing, I mean I was never that great!"
Victoria has famously stepped back from performing with the group in recent years — notably sitting out their 2019 reunion tour — however, Victoria teased a full-band reunion was tempting when she took to her Instagram Story to share footage from fellow '90s stars Oasis' Wembley Stadium show last month, which she attended with her husband Sir David Beckham and children Romeo, Cruz and Harper.
Captioning one clip, she wrote: “Tempting," and tagged her bandmates.
This teamed with her latest comments to Cohen, suggest the door may not be entirely closed and has certainly sparked excitement among the Wannabe group's fanbase.
The band are contemplating a huge tour in 2026 to celebrate 30 years since the release of their debut single Wannabe, but Melanie admitted not everyone is on board.
Speaking on the No Filter with Kate Langbroek podcast, she said: “Next year is a big year for us and we have to acknowledge it in some way.
“So we are talking about what that’s going to look like and for me, Melanie, I know for sure, and Emma [Bunton], we’d be back on stage. But sometimes other people need a little bit more convincing.”
Sporty revealed she would love to reunite with all of her bandmates on stage for the first time since 2012, adding: “It would be the best thing ever, ever, ever. And sometimes it feels like a duty to the world.
“When we did the shows in 2019 [as a quartet], it brought so much joy to so many people. Not everybody likes the Spice Girls but loads of people do.
“We’re living in this weird world right now. There’s so much negativity and mad s*** going on. Let’s all spice up our lives.”
