Wade Robson and James Safechuck Lawsuits (2013-present)
Australian dancer and choreographer Wade Robson – who had testified in Jackson's defence during the 2005 trial – sued the late singer's estate in 2013 after alleging that the star had molested him over a seven-year period.
Safechuck, who met Jackson during filming for a Pepsi commercial in 1987, filed a lawsuit the following year claiming that the Rock with You artist had sexually abused him over 100 times during a four-year period.
The pair's lawsuits were initially thrown out in 2017 as too much time had elapsed for Jackson's estate to be held criminally liable, but they continued to pursue legal action and the rulings were eventually overturned.
Robson and Safechuck combined their lawsuits into a single case, Safechuck v MJJ Productions, which is set to head to a jury trial in November 2026.
