LISTEN: Freya Skye unveils debut EP Stardust with 'messy and honest' songs
Freya Skye has released her debut EP Stardust, which contains five new tracks.
Freya Skye has unveiled her debut EP Stardust - which she says contains a collection of "messy and honest" songs.
The 16-year-old singer has followed up her Top 40 hit Silent Treatment with the five-track EP and she is both excited and relieved to get Stardust out to her fans.
On her debut EP, Freya said: "I’m so excited that my debut EP stardust is finally out! I’m so excited about this project and proud of how it’s come together. Each song on Stardust is a piece of who I was when I wrote it. They’re messy, honest, and a little bit broken on their own, but together they tell the full story. This EP is about embracing those fragments and letting them exist exactly as they are, and I really hope that people can connect with it and love it in the same way I do. This really feels like my first big step into music and one that I feel super excited about.”
Freya will play the songs from Starlight live for the first time on her sold-out headlining Stars Align tour, which kicks off later this week on February 6 at the Roseland Theater in Portland, Oregon.

The Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampire star wrote and worked with an acclaimed team of writers and producers, including Julia Michaels - who has collaborated with Sabrina Carpenter and H.E.R.) - Grammy-winning duo Mattman and Robin, Johan Carlsson as well as notable up-and-coming writers and producers.
The Stardust EP features a bold, emotionally charged tracklist that showcases Freya’s evolution as one of today’s most compelling young storytellers.

Her music consistently becomes viral fan-favorites across social platforms, where millions connect with her raw honesty, emotional intelligence, and distinct songwriting voice. In just a matter of months, Freya has amassed over 1.5 billion streams, generated billions of short‑form video views across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, and expanded her global social reach to more than 7 million fans—a rise that mirrors the speed and brilliance of her music.
Growing up in Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom, music always surrounded Freya.
In 2022, the Junior Eurovision Song Contest found her online and she was chosen to represent the United Kingdom, where she ultimately caught the attention of Disney and signed to Hollywood Records.
From there, Freya landed the key role of Nova Brightin in 2025’s Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires, which became an instant fan-favorite movie within the franchise.
