If the enormous queue snaking through North London to get into Freya Skye's concert at the O2 Forum Kentish Town is a sign of things to come for the 16-year-old singer, then she will be filling arenas in no time at all.

On Friday night (06.03.26), Freya took to the stage to deafening screams from her fans - collectively known as her 'Skyelights' - who had completely sold-out the famous London venue for a second night in a row.

The British pop prodigy is on the UK leg of her Stars Align Tour, and it is clear from the moment she walks out that Freya is destined to emulate her musical heroes like Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo.

Opening with Can't Fake It, Freya realises within the first few lines that every word of every song is going to be sang back to her tonight. And judging by her beaming smile she's ready for it.

Freya - who is from Buckinghamshire - follows it up with Petty before stopping to speak to the crowd for the first time and sweetly take a moment to give a shoutout to her support act Adrian Lyles who was unable to perform due to technical difficulties.

Freya said: "How are you feeling tonight? I'm so excited to be here tonight, we're going to have the best time ever!

"But, before we get started, I just want to thank my incredible opener Adrian Lyles who unfortunately, due to technical difficulties tonight, couldn't be here. But he's still here on the tour, he's backstage I love him so much, everyone make some noise!

"We love you so much Adrian, we know this is your first time in London and you guys have shown up and he can hear you backstage. We can feel the love so much, so thank you so much to Adrian, and thank you to you guys. We're going to go right back to the beginning, this is Walk Over."

Why'd You Have to Call? follows before Freya treats her fans to a rendition of unreleased track Bad Taste to more screams of approval as she asks "London, you guys don't even to hear it, do you? Oh you do."

A campfire section follows, during which Freya is joined by her bandmates, drummer David Cola, keyboardist Anna Bettendorf and guitarist Donnie Laudicina, and reveals her love of Greggs sausage rolls and Wispa chocolate bars, two things she can only get when she is back home in Britain.

Freya then sings acoustic ballads Who I Thought I Knew and the second unreleased track of the night London.

Among the many highlights is Golden Boy, which is from her new EP Stardust, with the song about a guy who proves to good to be true being one of her most obvious nods to Taylor Swift.

Freya's career began when she represented the UK at the 2022 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with the track Lose My Head - which makes the set - but most of the fans packed inside the O2 Forum will have got their first introduction to her when she played Nova Bright in Disney film Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires and she doesn't disappoint them by singing My Own Way from the movie.

Freya departs the stage after Stardust EP track Silent Treatment, before returning for an encore of Gold's Gone and once again a lot more ear-splitting screams from her adoring fans.

As the swarms of teenage girls and young fans exit the venue and pass the Kentish Delight kebab shop made famous by Taylor Swift and her End Game music video, they descend onto the London Underground. The chatter amongst them and the parents who chaperoned them is that they have been lucky enough to have witnessed a very special artist at the start of her career.

It seems the sky-e's limit for Freya Skye.
