Rauw Alejandro drops sultry new single GuabanSexxx ahead of sixth studio album
Puerto Rican superstar Rauw Alejandro is back with the sultry new single GuabanSexxx.

Rauw Alejandro has shared the explosive new track GuabanSexxx.
The Latin superstar’s sensual, rhythm-soaked single - which draws inspiration from the Taíno goddess of storms and chaos, Guabancex - is the final release ahead of his highly anticipated sixth studio album, Cosa Nuestra: Capitulo 0.
A hypnotic fusion of House, Bomba, and Plena, GuabanSexxx channels ancestral energy and sensuality in equal measure.
Rauw first teased the track with a surprise appearance at Bad Bunny’s Puerto Rican residency on Sunday (07.09.25), where he took the stage holding an umbrella - a symbolic nod to the storm goddess - while wearing a custom outfit inspired by his new album’s aesthetic.
The single follows two previously released tracks from Capitulo 0 - the viral, neo-bomba hit Carita Linda and the moody, cinematic Buenos Términos, both of which showcased Rauw’s deep connection to Afro-Caribbean culture and his signature sonic innovation.
A spiritual prequel to last year’s Cosa Nuestra, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Latin Albums chart, Capitulo 0 continues to honor Puerto Rico’s musical heritage while pushing the boundaries of Latin pop globally.
Rauw was recently honoured with the 2025 Hispanic Heritage Award for Vision for his contribution to Latin music and global culture. Accepting the award in Washington D.C., he delivered an emotional speech dedicated to the Hispanic community.
The 32-year-old singer said: “I am the son of a cultural crossroads, and what a great blessing it is to carry this mix in my blood, because it is what guides my art and my path.
"Grateful from the heart for this recognition, but this award is for all Hispanics: those mothers and fathers, those grandparents who struggle day by day to get their families ahead; for the visionaries who left their mark, and for all the Latinos who continue creating extraordinary things.
"Proud to be Puerto Rican, to have been born in the Caribbean: This is Cosa Nuestra! I love you.”
Alejandro is currently a top finalist with 14 nominations at the 2025 Billboard Latin Music Awards, including Artist of the Year, Tour of the Year, and Top Latin Album of the Year.
The buzz continues to build as the Latin American leg of his Cosa Nuestra World Tour kicks off on October 13 in Santiago, Chile, with multiple dates scheduled in Buenos Aires, São Paulo, Bogotá, and Mexico.
