Shallipopi drops new single Na So after viral demand
Shallipopi answers fan demand with new single Na So, following viral teasers and the global success of Laho.

Nigerian rapper and songwriter Shallipopi has released his latest single, Na So.
The track arrives following weeks of anticipation and viral buzz online, with fans calling for its official drop after a teaser gained widespread traction on Instagram and TikTok.
First previewed in July via a black-and-white clip featuring Shallipopi and his crew, Na So quickly sparked a viral trend built around its lyrics, leading to nearly 100,000 user-generated videos across social platforms.
The phrase "Na So" - an affirmative term rooted in Shallipopi’s hometown of Benin City - blends amapiano influences with the artist’s trademark bravado and rhythmic delivery.
The single follows the success of his breakout hit Laho, which has amassed over 130 million global streams across multiple versions.
A remix featuring Burna Boy and Puerto Rican star Rauw Alejandro helped boost its international reach and positioned Shallipopi as one of the most prominent emerging voices in African music.
He is currently on tour in Canada after high-profile sets at Afro Nation and Recessland festivals.
In addition to music, Shallipopi recently expanded into fashion through a new partnership with BoohooMAN, with his debut collection released in August.
Known for his unconventional delivery and playful lyricism, Shallipopi - real name Crown Uzama - rose to fame with the viral single Elon Musk, followed by his debut album Planet Pluto.
He was named one of VEVO’s “DSCVR Artists to Watch” and ranked among Spotify Africa’s top 10 artists in 2024.
His single Cast featuring Odumodublvck peaked at No. 3 on the UK Afrobeats Chart and held the position for 13 weeks.
Na So is now streaming on all major platforms.
