Sabrina Carpenter is set to perform at the BRIT Awards with Mastercard.

The ‘Espresso’ hitmaker will join previously confirmed performers JADE, Myles Smith, Shaboozey, Teddy Swims and The Last Dinner Party at the prestigious much bash at The O2 arena in London on March 1.

What’s more, the 25-year-old pop star will be presented with the Global Success accolade, given to artists with “phenomenal global sales”, following in the footsteps of One Direction, Ed Sheeran, Adele and Sam Smith.

It marks the first time an international act has been chosen to receive the award.

The American star spent a total of 21 weeks atop the Official UK Charts in 2024, the first artist to do so in 71 years.

Sabrina also became the first female artist ever to simultaneously occupy the top three spots with ‘Taste’, ‘Please Please Please’ and ‘Espresso’.

In her native country, the ‘Bed Chem’ singer became the first artist to land three top five hits in the top five simultaneously since The Beatles six decades ago.

Damian Christian, Chair of the BRIT Committee for 2025, said: "Congratulations to Sabrina on winning this prestigious award. Everyone involved in the show is looking forward to her performance, which promises to be one of the highlights of the night."

Sabrina - who released her acclaimed album 'Short n' Sweet' last year - also received nods for International Song of the Year for ‘Espresso’ and International Artist of the Year.

‘Stargazing’ hitmaker Myles was recently unveiled as the winner of the BRITs Rising Star prize.

Myles is also in contention for Best New Artist, Song of the Year (‘Stargazing’) and Pop Act.

The Last Dinner Party will compete for Mastercard Album of the Year (‘Prelude to Ecstasy’), Group of the Year, Best New Artist and Alternative / Rock Act.

Teddy Swims’ ‘Lose Control’ is nominated for International Song of the Year, as is Shaboozey with ‘A Bar Song (Tipsy)’.

Other nominees include The Beatles, Charli XCX, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, and Chappell Roan.

The live show will be broadcast exclusively on ITV1 and ITVX and hosted by Jack Whitehall.

The winners of the five genre awards will be determined by a public vote exclusively through WhatsApp, which is open now and closes on Friday (14.02.25) at 11.59pm.

To vote, fans can head to the BRITs WhatsApp channel or brits.co.uk/vote, to begin the vote on WhatsApp. Further information on the vote can be found at brits.co.uk/vote.
