Lauryn Hill brings Diaspora Calling! festival to the UK for the first time
Lauryn Hill is launching her Diaspora Calling! festival in Milton Keynes this summer, marking its long‑awaited UK debut.
Lauryn Hill has confirmed that her acclaimed Diaspora Calling! festival will arrive in the UK for the very first time, taking over the Milton Keynes National Bowl on August 7.
The event, which celebrates music and culture from across the African diaspora, originally launched in 2016 and has previously featured artists including Nas, Kehlani, Noname and Little Simz. Its 2026 edition will also mark Hill’s only confirmed UK appearance of the year.
Hill will headline the festival, with fellow Fugees star Wyclef Jean also joining the bill.
Two of Hill’s sons — YG Marley and Zion Marley, both grandchildren of reggae legend Bob Marley — are among the first wave of performers announced.
Organisers say more acts, along with “very special guests,” will be revealed soon.
Tickets go on sale on March 31 at 9am here.
