Lionel Richie will return to the UK in 2026 for a major exclusive headline show at The Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, with organisers confirming the music icon will take to the stage on August 20 as part of the HeritageLive outdoor concert series.

The performance marks Richie’s only UK date of the year and joins the previously announced Eric Clapton, who headlines the same series on August 23.

Fans hoping to secure tickets will need to pre‑register, with a presale opening at 9am on March 25, ahead of the general sale later in the week.

HeritageLive promoter Giles Cooper said securing Richie for a one‑off UK appearance was a landmark moment for the series.

He said: “Lionel Richie is quite simply one of the greatest entertainers of all time.

“From his early days at Motown through to the incredible solo career that has seen him sell millions of records and perform to audiences all over the world, his music has soundtracked generations. To have an artist of his calibre perform an exclusive UK show for us at The Sandringham Estate in 2026 is truly special.”

With a catalogue that includes All Night Long, Dancing on the Ceiling, Hello and countless other global hits, Richie remains one of pop’s most enduring voices. His career has seen more than 125 million albums sold worldwide, cementing his place as a defining figure in modern music.
