Barry Can't Swim brought his genre-mashing live show to London's Victoria Park.

Barry Can’t Swim transformed London's Victoria Park into a euphoric dance floor at All Points East 2025.
The show marked the Scottish DJ’s first major festival headline set, and the genre-blending producer made it clear from the very first song (Change) why his sets are among the most acclaimed in the current electronic music scene.
The multi-hyphenated star – whose real name is Joshua Mainnie – moved effortlessly between guitar, keyboards, and DJ decks.
The enthusiasm of the fans witnessing the huge milestone in the DJ’s career was also mirrored in his face throughout the performance.
He told the crowd: “Two years ago, I played Hoxton Hall and didn’t know if anyone would turn up - there were, like, 400 people. And doing this two years later on this stage, in front of this many people, is crazy."
Throughout his set Barry Can't Swim was fully immersed in the euphoria of his latest album, Loner. Mixing house, jazz, and classical music, he was accompanied by a drummer, a keyboardist, and an incredible 14-piece orchestra for almost the entire performance. When it came to playing fan-favourite, Kimbara, four extra brass players appeared on stage, making the song even more powerful.
The set continued with Blackpool Boulevard, his first big hit, much to the delight of the electric crowd.
Another memorable moment came when singer Låpsley joined the DJ to perform their collaboration, Woman. He also was also joined by poet somedeadbeat for Deadbeat Gospel.
Towards the end, Barry Can't Swim thrilled fans with Still Riding and Childhood from his new album, before sun-setting the fine summer's evening with energetic closer Sunsleeper.
He declared: “You’ve been such a crowd… I’m buzzing."
And with that, there was time left to sing Happy Birthday to the star, who turned 33 that day.
