'Now I feel for all the mothers...' Katy Perry promises earlier stage time now she's a parent
Katy Perry has vowed to have an earlier stage time when she launches 'The Lifetimes Tour' because she doesn't want to keep all the mothers in the audience out too late.

Katy Perry will be starting her concerts earlier so all the tired mothers don't have to stay out too late.
The 40-year-old pop superstar has teased a section of "surprises" in her upcoming international 'The Lifetimes Tour', but one thing she has revealed is she is swapping a 9.15pm show start time for an earlier hour, because she knows how hard those early mornings are since becoming a mother herself.
Katy - who shares daughter Daisy, four, with her fiancé Orlando Bloom - told E! News: "One thing I will be implementing is an earlier showtime because now I feel for all the mothers that I put through when I started my show at 9.15."
The 'Firework' singer is looking forward to Daisy and Orlando, 48, joining her on the road and she can't wait to perform in front of her daughter.
She said: "It's like Christmas again when you get to see it through a child's eyes.
"There's so much light and joy and hope."
Despite keeping tight-lipped on what is going to feature in her upcoming spectacle show - which is coming to the UK in October - Katy has teased there could be "edge of [your] seat" stuff.
She said: "There might be a section that has some surprises.
"We [have got to] keep these kids on the edge of their seat, you know?"
But one thing that is for certain is that her hits, such as 'Hot N Cold', 'I Kissed a Girl' and 'Teenage Dream', will be included in the set as she feels a sense of "responsibility" to her audience.
The 13-time Grammy nominee said: "I like to have everything represented in its own special way, but I do feel a responsibility to my audience that they can have a sing along of some sort.
"So, the songs that they know and grew up with and there's nostalgia songs that people have adopted for their life mantra or for a certain time in their life, whether that was a hard time or a happy time.
"Music really stirs our emotions and connects us, so I'm gonna be singing all those songs and more."
