Brontës have unleashed their anti-Valentine's anthem, Wouldn’t Be Me.

The track, which landed just in time for Valentine's Day (14.02.26), takes a tongue‑in‑cheek swipe at bad boyfriends everywhere, serving as a playful anti‑Valentine’s anthem urging someone to raise their standards and move on.

Wouldn’t Be Me marks the third digital single from the Glasgow quartet’s upcoming debut album, due in April. It follows the bright indie‑rock energy of Cognitive Dissonance and the slower, reflective San Francisco, showcasing the band’s growing range.

Made up of Eva (vocals/guitar), Amelia (drums/vocals), Erin (guitar/vocals), and Katie (bass/vocals), Brontës have reinvented themselves with a fresh pop‑rock sound inspired by artists from Sabrina Carpenter to Blondie. Since emerging in 2021, they’ve built a strong live following, from selling out King Tut’s to landing festival slots across the UK.

The band recently wrapped recording on their debut album at Beetroot Studio with producer Stuart MacLeod. Set for release on April 21, the self‑titled record will arrive on multiple vinyl variants, CD and digital formats — marking the next step for one of Glasgow’s most exciting indie acts.
