NCT's Haechan drops debut solo album Taste
Haechan has shared his 11-track debut solo album, Taste, featuring rapper HAON.

NCT’s Haechan has kicked off his solo era with his tantalising debut album, Taste.
The 25-year-old singer released the collection on September 8 via SM Entertainment, after almost a decade of captivating fans as part of NCT 127 and NCT Dream.
Taste showcases Haechan’s signature vocals across a diverse sonic palette, blending R+B, soul, hip-hop, and pop influences. The album opens with Camera Lights, a smooth neo-soul track that sets the stage for a journey through emotional highs and lows. Lead single CRZY delivers a punchy mix of early-2000s funk and rhythmic pop, accompanied by a visually striking music video set in an art museum.
Other standout tracks include Adrenaline, a high-octane anthem, and Grey Rain, a stripped-back acoustic ballad that explores the loneliness behind the spotlight. Haechan also collaborates with rapper HAON on WYN?, adding a playful edge to the album’s introspective tone.
To celebrate the release, Haechan hosted a live-streamed event on NCT’s official YouTube and TikTok channels, offering fans behind-the-scenes stories and a first look at select performances. The album’s rollout included teaser images, highlight medleys, and multiple physical editions, with pre-orders selling out across several platforms.
Haechan has described the album as a reflection of his musical upbringing and a chance to explore sounds that shaped his identity as an artist. With this release, he joins a growing list of NCT members branching out into solo territory, further expanding the group’s creative reach.
Taste is available now on all major platforms.
