Super Bowl halftime show 2025: Kendrick Lamar disses Drake and Taylor Swift booed
Rap star Kendrick Lamar didn't hold back when he headlined the Super Bowl halftime show.

Kendrick Lamar took his beef with Drake all the way to the Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday (09.02.25).
The rap superstar made a joke about his arch-nemesis suing his label for defamation over his controversial diss song 'Not Like Us', which was the centre of attention throughout his 13-minute set at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
After the 'Nice For What' hitmaker launched legal action after Kendrick accused him of being a sexual predator on the explosive hit, which he has denied, Kendrick quipped: "I want to play their favourite song ... but you know they love to sue."
Amid the ongoing legal battle, Kendrick opted to perform a censored version of 'Not Like Us'.
Drake's lawyers are currently suing Universal Music Group, Kendrick's record label, over the track, observing that the song includes "false factual allegations" about the rapper.
Elsewhere, Kendrick stormed through 'Humble', 'DNA', 'Squabble Up', 'Man At The Garden' and 'Euphoria', another Drake diss track.
Meanwhile, special guests included SZA, who joined her duet partner on 'All the Stars' and 'Luther', tennis ace Serena Williams got to serve as Kendrick's dancer, and Hollywood star Samuel L Jackson played host as Uncle Sam.
The Philadelphia Eagles beat the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22.
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift was booed by Philadelphia Eagles fans when she appeared on the big screens.
The Grammy winner was there to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce, who is a tight-end for the Chiefs, and was seen giving major side-eye and smiling in the awkward moment.
