Miley - who shot to fame in the title role on the Disney channel series 'Hannah Montana' - impressed Adele with her nostalgic track 'Used To Be Young' and got a shoutout on stage in Las Vegas.

Just days later, Miley revealed that she had been thinking about Adele and her music throughout the composition.

She said: "Adele, I thought of you often while writing this song – always hoped that you would love it. This means the world to me. I love you. Mission accomplished!"
