The former 'Late Late Show' host is good friends with Adele as they moved from the UK to the US at a similar time.

Adele guest starred on the final episode of the chat show in the last ever Carpool Karaoke segment.

Corden told the singer that he was "floored" at the ease in which he could relate to her lyrics.

He said: "I was floored by how you managed to take everything that I was feeling about myself, and life, and just put it in a verse!"
