He and Paul McCartney met on the school bus

George and his fellow Beatle, Paul McCartney, knew each other long before joining the band.

They met for the first time on the bus when travelling to school.

When The Beatles found fame, the pair would often share a room on tour and McCartney - who was almost a year older - would often refer to Harrison as his "baby brother".
