Paris Hilton named Sunday icon as Pride adds major new acts to 2026 lineup
Paris Hilton will headline Pride’s Sunday celebrations as this year’s Sunday icon, joining a stacked lineup that includes Holly Johnson, Leigh‑Anne, G Flip, Melanie C and more.
Paris Hilton has been announced as the Sunday icon for Brighton and Hove Pride 2026 and will headline the main stage on August 2 as part of the festival’s flagship weekend programme.
Organisers also confirmed that Holly Johnson, frontman of Frankie Goes to Hollywood, will perform in the Legends slot.
His appearance ties into this year’s theme, The Power of Love, and marks the return of one of the 1980s’ most influential openly gay artists.
Additional main‑stage performers announced today (26.03.26) include Leigh‑Anne, G Flip, and Moonchild Sanelly, with Melanie C returning to deliver a DJ set.
The festival’s dance arena lineup has also expanded, with The Blessed Madonna, HAAi, I.Jordan, Hannah Wants, Bimini, Daniel Avery, Patrick Mason, and Girls Don’t Sync joining previously announced headliners Armand Van Helden and Purple Disco Machine.
These updates follow earlier news that RAYE and Diana Ross will headline Pride on the Park in 2026, alongside confirmed performances from Jessie J, RuPaul, Self Esteem, and Five.
Managing Director Paul Kemp commented: "This year feels incredibly special as we celebrate 35 years of Brighton and Hove Pride.
"We want to reflect on the journey since the early 90s, celebrate how far we’ve come as a community but also look ahead to the future and how far we’ve still to go.
"This year’s Pride on the Park line-up reflects such a breadth of talent across many generations and we know Pride-goers are in for such an incredible experience. Let’s celebrate the power of love in all its forms - roll on August!"
