American Express presents BST Hyde Park has confirmed a second headline performance for Lewis Capaldi in summer 2026, after phenomenal fan demand saw his first show sell out immediately.

The BRIT Award-winning singer-songwriter will now take to the stage on both Saturday 11 July and Sunday 12 July, marking his highly anticipated return to the capital.

Tickets for the new date went on general sale on Friday (19.09.25) at 1.30pm via bst-hydepark.com.

The announcement comes as Capaldi continues a remarkable comeback. Following a hiatus after the release of his second album Broken by Desire to Be Heavenly Sent in 2023 for the sake of his mental and physical health, he made a surprise appearance at Glastonbury earlier this year, where he introduced his single Survive.

The track became the fastest-selling single of the year, achieving his biggest-ever opening week sales and reaffirming his place as one of the UK’s most loved performers. He later delighted fans with a special guest appearance during Noah Kahan’s BST Hyde Park set, further cementing his status as a festival favourite.

Capaldi, 28, now joins the illustrious list of headliners at BST Hyde Park, which has previously welcomed the likes of Stevie Wonder, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen and Taylor Swift. His return to the live stage represents a new chapter for the Scottish star, whose blend of heartfelt ballads and wry humour has won over audiences worldwide.

Since the release of his 2019 debut album Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, Capaldi has enjoyed remarkable success. The record became the UK’s biggest-selling album of both 2019 and 2020, producing two No. 1 singles and earning him multiple BRIT Awards alongside a Grammy nomination.

Its standout hit Someone You Loved recently reached 10x Platinum certification, making it the UK’s most-streamed song of all time and the fourth most-streamed globally.

As he prepares for a packed summer of live shows, Capaldi will also headline the inaugural Roundhay Festival in Leeds on Saturday 4 July, before embarking on a run of sold-out arena and stadium dates across the UK and Ireland.
