Louis Tomlinson says the hefty Oasis Live '25 Tour ticket prices "left a bad taste in my mouth".

The former One Direction star - whose solo music has been inspired by the legendary Britpop band - has voiced his frustration over the steep ticket prices for the band's first tour in 16 years, branding them “bloody horrendous” and “outrageous”.

He told Rolling Stone UK: "I thought the ticket prices were bloody horrendous. I thought it was outrageous. It left a bad taste in my mouth, especially because a big part of their image and fanbase is rooted in not coming from a wealthy background. They're a proud band from a working-class background."

The Supersonic group's return saw massive demand with ticket prices soaring into the hundreds — and resale platforms pushing them even higher - while many fans were left ticketless despite waiting in lengthy queues.

Following the Oasis ticket fiasco, Ticketmaster agreed to implement a series of changes aimed at improving transparency for music fans, following a formal investigation by the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA).

The probe, which scrutinised how ticketing information is presented on Ticketmaster’s platform, concluded with a commitment from the company to provide clearer pricing and more detailed descriptions of ticket offerings. The move came amid growing pressure on ticketing giants to address fan frustration over hidden fees, vague seating details, and confusing upgrade options - issues that have intensified around high-demand events like the Oasis Live '25 Tour.

The US-owned company was warned it could have breached UK and European laws over the inflated prices with some tickets for the reunion raising from £135 to £350.

More than 900,000 tickets were sold to the comeback tour, while many faced lengthy queues and failed to get tickets. What's more, thousands of fans had their tickets cancelled after a crackdown on bots.
