Cliff Richard represented the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest twice, first in 1968 with ‘Congratulations’, which finished a close second, and again in 1973 with ‘Power to All Our Friends,’ placing third. His 1968 entry became a massive international hit and is still closely associated with Eurovision history. Despite entering twice and coming close, he never won!
