In 2021, she was included on the soundtrack of the movie ‘Respect’, a biopic on the 'Queen of Soul' Aretha Franklin.

King and Jamie Hartman's song ‘Here I Am (Singing My Way Home)’ - which was performed in the movie by actress Jennifer Hudson - earned both Golden Globe and Grammy nominations.
