Festival Republic Confirm Exciting Leeds And Reading Line-up

Festival Republic's 2012 Leeds & Reading Festival confirm their mind-blowing line-up for Friday 24th, Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th August 2012.

From rock to pop to electro and everything in between, these diverse festivals bring together our classic favourites, current chart talent and brand new bands making their live stage debuts. Headlining the Festival Republic stage are noise punk duo Sleigh Bells, Feeder and The View. Performing a closing DJ set in Leeds, Californian Lorin Ashton also known as Bassnectar. Sleigh Bells will make their appearance on the Friday in Reading and the Saturday in Leeds, Young Guns and Bassnectar on the Saturday in Reading and the Sunday in Leeds and The View on the Sunday in Reading and, of course, the Friday in Leeds.

On the Main Stage on the 24th in Leeds (26th in Reading) we will witness the legendary Dave Grohl with his Foo Fighters as well as British 'Ruby' hitmakers the Kaiser Chiefs. Leeds' Saturday and Reading's Friday will see Goth-Pop 80s classic The Cure alongside the red-headed stunner Hayley Williams with her rock group Paramore. Finally for our main stage, Kasabian and Florence And The Machine are set to dazzle Sunday's Leeds and Saturday's Reading goers.

The NME/Radio 1 Stage will feature tunes from The Maccabees, The Cribs, Billy Talent, The Horrors and SBTRKT, while Sat 25th (Reading) and Sun 26th (Leeds) Dance Stage will see house artist Katy B and electropop singers Metronomy. Finally, The Lock-Up Stages will present music from Social Distortion, anti flag, Less Than Jake, and Gallows.

Still to come are the line-up for the BBC Introducing Stage and Alternative Stage.
