The ‘Cowboy’ singer had some pretty choice words for protestors who demonstrated against his use of the Confederate flag.
Kid Rock has refused to stop using the Confederate flag during his concerts, despite protestors in his native Detroit calling on him to denounce the controversial symbol. The flag has been the subject of heated debate in the US for nearly 150 years, but the argument was recently reignited after the June 17 massacre of nine people at a church in Charleston, S.C.
Kid Rock has told protestors they can ‘kiss his ass’ over the use of the Confederate flag.
According to E! News earlier this week about a dozen members of Rev. Al Sharpton's National Action Network protested in front of the Detroit Historical Museum which features a Kid Rock exhibit, asking the star to denounce the Confederate flag.

Calling an album after the name of an estranged wife is certainly weird but it pales in comparison to some of music's most horrific album titles.
In perhaps the most audacious and downright ridiculous move the music business has witnessed in the last few years, singer Robin Thicke has announced his new album will carry the title of Paula, which by some strange coincidence just happens to be the name of his estranged wife- actress Paula Patton.
Thicke and Paula in more happy circumstances.
To say such a public declaration of love is cringe-worthy would be an understatement, it is such a trite attempt at reconciling with his wife that is seems like something straight out of Spinal Tap. You can imagine the album title sitting quite comfortably alongside the likes of Smell The Glove and Shark Sandwich. As if that wasn’t irksome enough, Thicke’s debut single from the album is entitled "Get Her Back” and it sees the ageing crooner positively straining to exude as much heartfelt sincerity as he can before he gives himself a heart attack.
West Palm Beach brings you five days of genre-spanning music from Ellie Goulding to Dropkick Murphys with this year's SunFest.
Probably the best sun-soaked family vacation you could ask for at such great value, SunFest arrives at West Palm Beach today (April 30th 2014) with a line-up that truly has something for everyone - if you'd pardon the cliché. Like any decent festival, filling in the spaces between bands is everything from the BB&T Juried Fine Art & Craft show to the Floating Oasis barge parties, not to mention the much anticipated fireworks display on Sunday. Having hosted its first event in 1982, it's no wonder it has remained such a family favourite, attracting over 165,000 revellers each year.
The starts of country and the southern music scene all paid their respects to the late icon.
The late, great George Jones was honored this Friday at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena Friday. The night was originally intended to celebrate the country icon’s retirement, but after his death last April, it was held as a sort of posthumous tribute. Billed as 'Playin' Possum: The Final No-Show,' the sold-out concert featured acts ranging from Garth Brooks and GEORGE STRAIT to Kid Rock and MEGADETH, USA Today reports.
The late George Jones defined the face of country music for most of the 20th century.
"During the funeral, we mourned George; tonight we celebrate," former Grand Ole Opry announcer Keith Bilbrey told the crowd at the start of the show. The performances ran on for over four hours, in order to accommodate the 112 artists, performing in memory of Jones. "Talk about wrangling cats!" Co-host Charlie Chase quipped early on in the show. "Everybody I've talked to says they're going on early," Dierks Bentley said backstage.
